IN MEMORIAL
TOM PENDERGAST
It is with great sadness that I report the passing of
a great man and friend, Tom Pendergast. Tom
passed away in April of this year. Tom was a
collector of firearms and history when Thompsons
were $200. He became a mentor to me in the
beginning and was always willing to talk to begin-
ning collectors about anything. Tom was a perma-
nent fixture in the Thompson Collectors Associa-
tion (being one of its first members) and was
always in attendance at the All Thompson Show
and Shoot, in Newark, Ohio. Known for his knowl-
edge in firearms and his sharpe sense of humor he
could always wrap his and your mind around any
subject. He will be missed.
