REPRODUCTION MANUALS
CORNELL PUBLICATIONS
Reproduction manuals are something
that every collector needs. Often times
these manuals will fill voids in a collec-
tion at an economical level, or will act
as a means to instruct the collector in
sales or disassembly information. Prob-
ably the most important use for the
reproduction is in a public display of
the TSMGs. This way the public can
see and in some cases touch an artifact.
The reproduction manuals from
Cornell Publications are a great source
of information and are very reasonable in price. These repros are reprinted copies of original
material, but the reproductions are presented in a different format (i.e.: size, or changes to the
covers) that will prevent them from being confused with
the originals. The color portions of the manuals are
bright and the text is reproduced in a larger print size.
This is very helpful for us old types who have problems
reading.
I strongly recommend the Thompson manuals, but they
also carry manuals on just about any other subject.
Cornell will even trade reproductions for the chance to
copy originals that they do not have in stock. This feature
is nice as a means for everyone to have a copy of a rare
manual and to preserve the history.
