Following the lecture done at the 14th All Thompson Show and

Shoot by Michael S. and myself new information on

Thompson paperwork has poured in. With the help of the TCN

we hope to continue to provide information on newly discov-

ered versions of manuals and paperwork.

This quarter we have a complete collection of Model of 1921

manuals from France. All of these manuals were printed

during the Vici-Occupied France time period. When Germany

over ran France it allowed the southern part of France to be

governed by the French puppet government lead by Vici. The

government was allowed to establish an army equal in size to

the one allowed to Germany after the armistice for WWI. The

army was well trained and given the best equipment captured

or available in France. When Germany took control of all of

France, most of  this French army escaped to Africa to become

the "Army of Liberation."

The manuals above include (top to bottom, left to right) the

edition of 1941, edition of 1942 and the edition of 1944.
