| The Model of M1A1 is a metal and plastic select fire
version of the Thompson. The wood parts are made of a plastic that is made
to look like wood and believe me it does. Yes, I said the models are
select fire. This version is battery powered and will fire in FULL AUTO.
The gun will rupture a full pop can at 30 feet and will launch the 6 mm
balls 100 feet. The rate of fire is about 700 rounds per minute. The
thirty round box magazine actually holds 68 balls. This model is also
marked with military WWII American proof marks for details. All of the
controls and safeties work just like the original Thompsons. Retail cost
of this model is $435, complete with battery, recharger, and ammo.
Now, if this is not enough for you, there is also a "TRACER ADAPTOR." This device will attach to the end of the barrel on the M1A1 and will allow the firing of glow in the dark balls. Trust me this is really cool. It is a must for any one who is breathing. Retail cost is $110. The really nice thing about these toys is that if a pellet trap is made, the ammo is reusable.
