Just a short note regarding the Penn. State Guns. He is correct in the number of guns removed from them also there were 62 Reisings with mags and hard cases all had stickers with property numbers.  The guns were traded in the last of 1984 by David Vankersbilck, Randy Thomas, Terry Williams.  I ended up with 12 Thompsons and 33 Reisings. All the Thompsons were in 92%+ condition, the Reising 95%+ and all Thompsons had correct early 21 parts. 

These were the nicest 21’s I have ever seen in one bunch.

(I noted no incorrect parts in any of the 2 l’s) do not know where the 28 parts rumor came from.

For Shame. You do an article on "Thompsons Go To War In The Comics" and even mention the Human Torch, which is now produced by Marvel Comics, yet not one word is mentioned of another Marvel product produced during the 1960’s that was saturated with Thompsons. "SGT. Fury and his Howling Commandos". In this particular comic an entire army squad was equipped with Thompsons. In fact it also included another squad of "rival" commandos lead by "Bull" McGivney who also had a complete compliment of Thompsons. In spite of this oversight, I enjoy your publication that was given to me as a Christmas gift, as was my Thompson which my wife gave to me the Christmas before that. Sincerely
