THE BONNIE AND CLYDE DEATH CAR HAS SURVIVED

Some of you know that I live very close to Las Vegas. It is only 100 miles away and it is our city for fun, excitement and major purchases. Prim, a small gambling town on the border of Death Valley, is 35 miles south of Las Vegas. It consists of three large casinos and a large amusement park. My wife and I decided one day to check it out.

Upon arriving, large billboards try to grab your attention. One very surprising thing was at Whiskey Pete’s billboard "See The Bonnie & Clyde death car."

At first I thought they were kidding, but this is the entertainment capitol so we went in. The car is displayed in a special room behind large plate glass panels. Ford Motor Co. has provided certificates of the authenticity of the vehicle. There are TV screens that show a video interview with relatives of Bonnie and Clyde. At the front of the car are two manikins, Bonnie toting a double barrel shotgun and Clyde holding a dummy Thompson.
