I thought you might like to see this artwork from a fireworks piece I purchased this summer in South Carolina. It was wrapped around a tall cylindrical piece that shot up a fountain of sparks. The same company also made a "Dillinger" model.
If you are ever in South Carolina, there are any number of stores that will sell you a Tommy gun or Dillinger firework.
Something tells me they didn't pay any fee for the use of the "Tommy Gun" name.
