WESTERN THOMPSON SHOW AND SHOOT
BY
DON HALL, SHOOT DIRECTOR

THE CHOSEN TWELVE! THE FEW ... THE PROUD!

EDDIE KAPP, WINNER OF THE FARTHEST TRAVELED AWARD, FROM PENN.

Twelve shooters showed up to this year's event. Two canceled at the last minute (your're forgiven) and one had car trouble. The sky was clear, blue, no clouds, and about 90 degree temperature.

After setting up the targets and going over some last minute details, the shooting got started about nine thirty. Soon afterwards problems started happening. Random jams and a broken PMC casing in a chamber downed a very badely needed gun. Murphy must have made some of the ammo!

Everyone had a very good time regardless, but problems made a wreck of the match director.
