Here is one of my Thompsons

from my collection. The gun

was originally sold to the Indi-

ana State Police, probably to

combat the crime sprees of John

Dillinger and simular gangsters.

Under the rear grip is stamped

"Indiana State Police" four

times. Also stamped is the letter

"N" or "Z", probably a Colt/

AO inspection marking.
